One Day in Rhodes from the Cruise Port
One island, two very different days — choose deliberately, then commit.
A port day in Rhodes works best when you choose one clear anchor — the Old Town or Lindos — rather than trying to sample everything. This itinerary sets out both versions hour by hour, assuming roughly eight usable hours; shorten either by trimming free time, not the return buffer.
Old Town version — 08:30–09:00: leave the ship and reach the Marine Gate area, walking if your berth and the weather suit, or by taxi. Confirm the return route before moving on.
Old Town version — 09:00–10:30: walk the Street of the Knights and enter the Palace of the Grand Master while it is calmer. Early light and fewer crowds make this the right first stop.
Old Town version — 10:30–12:00: continue past the Archaeological Museum area towards the Suleiman Mosque and the Jewish Quarter, absorbing the city's Ottoman and Jewish history alongside its Knights-era core.

Lindos version — 13:00–14:00: the return drive to Rhodes Town, arriving with a comfortable margin before you need to think about all-aboard.
Whichever version you choose, preserve at least 60–90 minutes before all-aboard for an Old Town day, and a larger contingency for the Lindos road, especially on multi-ship days.
