Berth: most larger ships use the Akandia cruise terminal south of Rhodes Town's old harbour; smaller vessels sometimes use a berth nearer Mandraki. Confirm your specific berth on the ship's daily programme.
Old Town distance: typically a 15–20 minute walk from Akandia, or around 10 minutes from Mandraki. The route is mostly level, but the Old Town itself has cobbled, uneven paving.
Lindos distance: roughly 47–50 km south, about 50–60 minutes by road each way. This needs organised transport — it is not a walking or casual taxi-on-a-whim trip given the distance and timing.
Crowding: Rhodes frequently receives several ships on the same day, especially in peak season. Expect busier taxi ranks and a livelier Old Town around midday.
Return: work backwards from all-aboard, not the published sailing time. Build a 60–90 minute buffer for an Old Town day, and more for Lindos or the coast.
