Private Lindos and Beach Day
History in Lindos, then a proper stretch of beach time — privately paced.
A private tour combining Lindos village and its Acropolis with genuine time at one of Rhodes' beaches, giving both history and relaxation in one outing rather than splitting them across separate tours.
The Lindos portion covers the village's narrow cobbled streets, courtyards and ancient mosaics, along with the Byzantine Church of the Ascension, before or after time at the Acropolis above, depending on how your guide sequences the day.
The beach stop that follows is a genuine unwind rather than a brief photo stop — time for water sports, a meal at a local restaurant, or simply relaxing on the sand, on your own private schedule.
Because it's private, the balance between history and beach time can be adjusted to your group's preference on the day.

Getting there from the cruise port
Cruise ships calling at Rhodes typically berth at the Tourist Port, within a short walk of the Old Town's medieval walls for most berths, though some calls use the outer Commercial Port and a handful of tours meet a few minutes' walk from the pier rather than directly alongside it. Always confirm your exact meeting point and pickup location from your booking confirmation, since this is set per tour and can vary from ship to ship. The Old Town itself is comfortably walkable from most berths — allow 10–20 minutes — so a guide is optional if you only want the medieval quarter. Lindos, the beaches at Anthony Quinn Bay and Kallithea, and the island's mountainous interior all require coach, taxi or private transport; there is no practical walking option. Whichever excursion you choose, plan your day backwards from the ship's stated all-aboard time rather than its published departure time, and build in a buffer for Rhodes' summer traffic on the coastal road to Lindos.
Tips for cruise passengers
- Bring your swimsuit under your clothes and a towel for the beach portion
- Wear flat, sensible shoes for cobblestones and uneven terrain in Lindos
- Cover shoulders and knees if visiting the Church of the Ascension
Typically not included
- Food and drink at the beach or in Lindos
- Water sports equipment rental at the beach, unless separately arranged
